Job Summary:
The Collision Repair Operations Manager will be responsible for managing appraisals, work authorizations, repair orders, supplements, and warranties to ensure a high closing ratio for the company.
This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and problem-solving abilities to effectively manage relationships with adjusters, production teams, and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Appraisal Management: Develop and implement follow-up programs on appraisals as necessary.
- Repair Order Management: Manage repair orders, supplements, and warranties to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction.
- Communication: Maintain consistent communication with adjusters, production teams, and customers regarding repair progress.
- Quality Control: Inspect completed repairs and meet with customers during vehicle pickup to ensure their satisfaction.
- Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve any customer concerns or dissatisfaction.
- Team Leadership: Foster positive relationships with team members and management, promoting a collaborative work environment.
- Workplace Safety: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Requirements:
- Education: Diploma in automotive body repair from high school or college.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 – 3 years of hands-on experience in a similar position or senior estimating role.
- Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of collision repair operations, including estimating, production scheduling, and meeting deadlines.
- Insurance Knowledge: Well-versed in insurance repair procedures and guidelines.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in Mitchell software and competent in computer applications, including MS Office and Outlook.
- Licenses: Must hold a valid driver's license.
Compensation:
Our compensation package includes a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus opportunities for bonuses and overtime pay.
