About the Role

BullyingCanada Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Director of Philanthropy to join our national team and drive fundraising revenue nationally through mid-level and major gifts fundraising.

This is a commission-based position with the potential of becoming a salary-based position after a 6-month probation period.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute short-term and long-term development goals ensuring increased revenue year-over-year.
  • Focus 100% on identifying and securing new donors for BullyingCanada, including foundations, individuals, and grants.
  • Strengthen and expand revenue development opportunities with existing donors through cultivation and implementation of strategies.
  • Recruit new corporate and foundation donors and develop customized stewardship strategies.
  • Ensure all fundraising initiatives and donor cultivation is in keeping with relevant Foundation policies and practices.
  • Provide weekly update reports on fund development status updates and goals to Administration Manager and/or Executive Director.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in business or fundraising, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Proven background in leading fundraising campaigns with revenue targets of $100k+.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a fundraising/management role in the not-for-profit or charitable sectors.
  • Proven ability to take initiative and carry projects to completion with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple projects within tightly prescribed timelines.
What We Offer
  • Commission-based position with potential to become salary-based after 6-month probation period.
  • Full-time (40 hours per week), 1-year contract with possible extension.
