Brandt Tractor Ltd is seeking a skilled Construction Supervisor to lead our Halifax Construction & Forestry team.

The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, ensuring quality repair work and advising the Service Manager on technician skills and training needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Organize and prioritize work tasks to meet deadlines
  • Supervise service technicians and maintain a clean work environment
  • Advise and mentor technicians to improve their skills
  • Commit to customer service and service excellence
  • Communicate effectively with customers, the service team, and other branch personnel
  • Manage costs and ensure profitability of the department
  • Process work orders and prepare them for warranty
  • Perform other duties as required

Required Skills

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills required
  • Ability to work after-hours and lift up to 50 pounds

Required Experience

  • Previous mechanical experience in a heavy equipment environment is an asset
  • Certified Journeyman in the Heavy Duty Equipment technician trade or equivalent designated trade required
  • Experience in a service department setting required
  • Familiarity with John Deere and competitive products preferred
  • Forklift license preferred
