Construction Supervisor

Brandt Tractor Ltd is seeking a skilled Construction Supervisor to lead our Halifax Construction & Forestry team.
The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, ensuring quality repair work and advising the Service Manager on technician skills and training needs.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Organize and prioritize work tasks to meet deadlines
- Supervise service technicians and maintain a clean work environment
- Advise and mentor technicians to improve their skills
- Commit to customer service and service excellence
- Communicate effectively with customers, the service team, and other branch personnel
- Manage costs and ensure profitability of the department
- Process work orders and prepare them for warranty
- Perform other duties as required
Required Skills
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Basic Microsoft Office skills required
- Ability to work after-hours and lift up to 50 pounds
Required Experience
- Previous mechanical experience in a heavy equipment environment is an asset
- Certified Journeyman in the Heavy Duty Equipment technician trade or equivalent designated trade required
- Experience in a service department setting required
- Familiarity with John Deere and competitive products preferred
- Forklift license preferred
