The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our Halifax team in Nova Scotia. This is an exceptional chance to work with a dedicated team, leveraging your mechanical aptitude and excellent communication skills to provide exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Install, repair, and maintain rehabilitation and home health care equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  2. Collaborate with clients to diagnose equipment malfunctions, providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  3. Conduct thorough testing to identify defects, ensuring prompt and effective repairs.
  4. Manage company assets efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  5. Ensure a safe working environment, upholding industry standards and best practices.
  6. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay abreast of advancing technologies.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  1. Grade 12 academic achievement
  2. 2-3 years of experience in repair of home health care products (training provided for the right candidate)
  3. Excellent mechanical abilities
  4. Previous customer service and/or administrative experience (an asset)
  5. Clean Driver's abstract, strong interpersonal & communication skills
  6. Criminal records check (required)
  7. Familiarity with seating systems and rehabilitation products (an asset)
