Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care to join our team at the University Hospital of Northern BC.
As a key member of our Maternal Child Services team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care and nursing practice activities within the framework of quality management and in accordance with the UHNBC mission statement.
Key Responsibilities
• Assess and plan patient care, implementing and evaluating nursing practice activities
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence

Requirements
• Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant
• Advanced preparation in a Perinatal clinical specialty or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Current Fetal Health Surveillance and Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification
• Post-graduate courses or equivalent combination of training and experience
