Job Title: Automotive Shop Supervisor Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Automotive Shop Supervisor to lead our Transformer Repair team at our Stoney Creek Service Center. As a key member of our operations team, you will provide technical leadership and operational expertise to ensure the efficient execution of repair projects. Key Responsibilities: * Supervise and coordinate the work of shop employees in a 2-shift manufacturing facility * Collaborate with engineering, planning, purchasing, and project management to ensure optimal production aspects of the repair * Analyze and recommend cost improvement measures to enhance productivity and resource utilization * Hire, train, direct, and manage all hourly shop employees * Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve or assist in resolving daily operational issues * Lead and/or support safety and quality initiatives * Support job planning and work schedule development Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical diploma as a technologist, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience * 5+ years' experience in transformer production/repair or equivalent manufacturing experience * Experience supervising workers in a factory union environment * Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills * Superior administrative, planning, organizational, and follow-up skills * Demonstrated experience as a team player and leading teams What We Offer: * Competitive compensation and benefits package * Opportunities for professional growth and development * Collaborative and dynamic work environment How to Apply: If you are a motivated and experienced leader looking to join a dynamic team, please submit your application.
