GardaWorld Cash is a leading provider of cash services in North America, and we are currently seeking an Armed Guard to join our Bathurst, NB branch.

About the Job:

  • This is a non-routine role with variable shifts, including weekends and nights.
  • You will be responsible for the safe transportation of customer values, using your firearm possession and acquisition license as necessary.
  • As part of our secure transportation team, you will work closely with colleagues to ensure the smooth execution of cash services.
  • Your mission at GardaWorld Cash will be to provide exceptional customer service while maintaining the highest level of safety and security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform pickups and deliveries safely and efficiently, adhering to established routes and schedules.
  2. Reload or perform minor repairs on Automated Banking Machines (ABMs) from various financial institutions.
  3. Ensure a safe environment for colleagues and customers by following established procedures and regulations.
  4. Drive an armored vehicle and maintain road safety at all times.
  5. Load and unload the armored vehicle, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  6. Complete daily reports and paperwork accurately and promptly.
  7. Respect the procedures and regulations initiated by GardaWorld, upholding the highest standards of professionalism.

Your Profile:

  • Possess a restricted and non-restricted Federal Firearms License (PAL).
  • Hold a valid driver's license (class 5 minimum) with no more than 6 demerit points.
  • Be capable of lifting loads up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Be available to work variable shifts, including weekends and nights.
  • Demonstrate reliability, conscientiousness, responsibility, and commitment to safe job performance.
  • Exhibit excellent customer service skills and ability to manage stressful situations effectively.
  • Show high organizational skills and comfort working with minimal supervision.
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments and able to cope with pressure and tight timelines.
