Zida Academy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Childhood Program Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our childcare staff, you will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings
  • Knowledge of licensing regulations
  • Establish guidelines for behaviour
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children
  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of other early childhood educators and early childhood educator assistants

As a Child Development and Education Lead, you will be responsible for supervising a team of early childhood educators and assistants, and for developing and implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. You will also be responsible for ordering supplies and equipment, and for discussing progress and problems of children at staff meetings.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, and will be able to demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality care and education to children.
