About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Legal Assistant to join our team at Travelers. As a Legal Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our attorneys, ensuring the smooth operation of our legal department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compose and review legal documents, including pleadings, discovery, and subpoenas.
  • Manage incoming mail and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including answering routine questions and handling client inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate records and data in our case management system.
  • Coordinate with experts, witnesses, and vendors to ensure seamless trial preparation.
  • Assist with trial preparation and record billable time.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a legal assistant.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and case management software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
