The Director of Legal Affairs will assist and work closely with business leaders in the strategic positioning of various projects and in assessing the associated legal risks. Key responsibilities include merger and acquisition transactions, tender processes, project financing, setting up large-scale partnerships with municipalities, aboriginal nations, and other relevant parties, as well as negotiating construction contracts and the purchase of wind turbines and other major equipment. The Director of Legal Affairs will be based in downtown Montreal offices and report to the Vice President, Legal Affairs for North America.
