Seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Support Professional to join our team at InOrbit Immigration Services Inc. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.



Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Tasks: Open and distribute mail and other materials, maintain manual and computerized information filing systems, and perform data entry.
  • Communication and Coordination: Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, schedule appointments, and arrange travel and itineraries.
  • Support Services: Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, facilitate access to community resources, and support social and labor market integration.


Requirements

  • Education: College, CEGEP, or non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Workplace Information: Hybrid work environment.


Specialized Support Services

  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Assist with settlement needs, facilitate access to resources, and support labor market integration.
  • Support for Youths: Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Offer mentorship programs and networking opportunities.
  • Support for Mature Workers: Provide awareness training to create a welcoming work environment.
