Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to oversee the delivery of multi-million dollar construction projects in occupied residential buildings. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing concurrent projects, ensuring timely and budget-friendly completion.

About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners. Your expertise in contract administration, particularly with CCDC forms, will be invaluable in resolving construction-related issues and managing project commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver capital construction projects on time and within budget while maintaining excellent communication with tenants.
• Coordinate with energy management, design, and engineering divisions to meet energy targets and build standards.
• Administer contracts, including Construction Management and Design-Build, as well as custom agreements for assigned projects.
• Foster strong relationships with internal and external partners, ensuring regular and effective communication with tenants.
• Manage external contractors and construction companies, ensuring schedules, budgets, and project commitments are consistently met.
• Prepare, review, and confirm scope of work and contract reviews, including service level agreements for assigned projects.
• Establish protocols for financial reporting, progress updates, scheduling, and work activities to meet/exceed contract obligations.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Proven experience in program management, particularly in construction and energy management projects with targeted energy savings and renovation experience.
• A university degree or college diploma in a relevant field or equivalent work experience in facility, design, construction, maintenance management, and contractor performance management.
• At least 5 years of experience in delivering concurrent multi-discipline projects and/or capital construction projects and/or facilities management services in occupied residential buildings.
• Strong analytical skills to identify problems and areas requiring study, recommending appropriate procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with staff and prepare reports.
• Results-oriented with an extremely high work ethic, possessing strong presentation skills in a diverse stakeholder environment.
• Proficiency in software packages such as Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Bluebeam.

$94,819 - $123,439 per annum (estimated salary range based on location and industry standards),
a minimum three weeks of paid annual vacation days, increasing with years of service,
