People Partner, Corporate Talent Specialist

Job Overview
The People Partner will have the opportunity to contribute to company performance by providing tactical support and consulting on people strategies in support of and aligning with business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- BUILD STRONG BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS WITH INTERNAL CUSTOMERS AND COLLEAGUES
- Apply organizational values in personal performance and ensures People & Culture services are aligned with these values
- Facilitate induction programs for new hires
- Consult with team members and management, providing People & Culture policy guidance and interpretation when appropriate
- Develop contract terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers
- Support People & Culture business processes through utilization of HRIS modules
- Assist with resolving employee relations issues including conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of team members, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Act as a performance improvement driver for individuals and teams, and provide day-to-day performance management guidance to management (E.G., COACHING, COUNSELING, CAREER DEVELOPMENT, DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS)
- Work closely with management and team members to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
- Identify training needs for individuals, teams, and business units and individual executive coaching needs
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Three or more years of People & Culture experience with preferred full-employee-life-cycle experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- A strong understanding of employment-related federal and state laws, programs, and best practices
- Ability to demonstrate strong ethics, influence, negotiation, leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Highly proficient in MS Office (WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT) and G-Suite
- Human Resources Certification: PHR desired
- BA/BS Degree in Business is preferred
Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
