Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Junior Administrative Coordinator to join our team at JAMIE. As an administrative assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our team members by coordinating the flow of information within the team, recording meeting minutes, and scheduling appointments.

This role requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong organizational abilities. You will also be responsible for performing data entry, maintaining digital databases, and ordering office supplies. If you have experience in basic bookkeeping tasks and possess strong multitasking abilities, this could be the perfect opportunity for you to grow your career.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the flow of information within the team
  • Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages
  • Compile data, statistics, and other information
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Perform data entry
  • Maintain and manage digital databases
  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in an administrative role
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Judgement and adaptability

Working Conditions:

  • Temporary work term with potential for extension
  • 30-40 hours per week
  • English language required
