Job Title: Continuing Care Assistant

VON Canada is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Continuing Care Assistant to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and caring individual to provide high-quality care to our clients in their homes. As a Continuing Care Assistant, you will work closely with our team to deliver personalized care and support to individuals with complex needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and household chores
  • Monitor and report any changes in client condition to the care team
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients
Requirements:
  • Continuing Care Assistant Certification
  • First Aid and CPR Certification
  • Child Abuse Registry check and Vulnerable Sector check
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
