Accounts Payable/Receivable Representative Role

At AppleOne, we are seeking a skilled Accounts Payable/Receivable Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have post-secondary education and 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, review, and verify invoices and cheque requests, sorting, coding, and data entry vendor and manufacturer invoices
- Verify and match invoices to purchase orders
- Process bi-weekly cheque runs and monthly business office remittances
- Reconcile manufacturer statements, reconcile sublet and payables schedules, and reconcile electronic transfer payments accounts
- Post transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records
- Receive monthly credit card statements, gather receipts, and prepare for payment, reconciling accounts payable records with vendor statements
- Prepare monthly analysis of expense accounts using Microsoft Excel
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
- Prepare and complete month-end expense posting & closing
- Track and reconcile all Prepaid and Accrual accounts
- Provide supporting documentation for audits
- Balance Intercompany Accounts on a monthly basis

Requirements:
- Post-secondary education
- 1-3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
- Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Good communication, both verbal and written skills
- CDK experience is an asset
- Knowledge of other DMS systems may be considered (Reynold & Reynolds)
- Automotive accounting experience is an asset
