Senior Marketing Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Marketing Partnerships to join our team at Travel Alberta. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships with key industry stakeholders in Alberta.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic direction for partnership programs across various workstreams, including digital, consumer marketing, trade, and destination development.
- Liaise with the Destination Development team to lead airline programs and develop new consumer and trade programs to drive value in international markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Destination Marketing Organizations (DMOs), airlines, and industry associations to drive revenue and growth.
- Lead the development of new NorthStar DMO international travel trade programs and strategic grants to build a competitive advantage in international markets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to increase collaboration and alignment with Travel Alberta's strategic direction.
- Provide direction, feedback, and strategic guidance to agency partners to maximize performance and investment.
- 7+ years of direct progressive experience in marketing, preferably building up partner programs.
- Experience working in airline marketing and/or the tourism industry is an asset.
- Strong budget management and financial forecasting skills.
- Degree in marketing, business, communications, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
