Training Liaison for Accessible Education and Training

The Okanagan College is seeking a highly skilled individual to fill the role of Training Liaison for Accessible Education and Training.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and supervising the community portion of the BEST program, providing students with hands-on opportunity to practice skills learned in the classroom.
You will support Accessible Education and Training students in the classroom and in the community, provide job search support for students leaving the BEST Program and the SAME program, promote AET in the community with employers and community agencies, and perform other related duties as required.
This position requires strong planning, marketing, promotional, and presentation skills, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
The ideal candidate will have graduation from a four-year college or university program in a related area such as a social services field, and over 1 year and up to and including 2 years related experience working with adults with special needs in a variety of programs within a Post-Secondary environment.
We offer an annual salary of $31,190.58 - $35,415.51 based on 12 hours per week, typically Tuesday and Thursday, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., with flexibility to accommodate student and department needs.
