Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making at PHSA.
  • Develop and implement financial plans and forecasts to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Analyze financial data to inform business cases and funding applications.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and tools to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to PHSA leadership and stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in financial planning and analysis.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as accounting, finance, or business administration.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a healthcare or public sector organization.
  • Professional accounting designation (CA, CGA, CMA) or Master's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of financial principles and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of autonomy and discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a large, complex organization with multiple sites and diverse operations.
  • Knowledge of financial planning and analysis software and tools, such as Excel, Access, and data visualization software.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards, such as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
