Salary: $160,524 per annum
About the Job
This senior leadership role is responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to the corporate services department, ensuring alignment with the Town's vision and goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, experience in project management, and a deep understanding of municipal government operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the corporate services department in developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve the Town's objectives
- Provide guidance and support to directors and managers in their respective areas of responsibility
- Collaborate with council and external stakeholders to build partnerships and drive community engagement
- Develop and manage budgets, policies, and procedures that align with the Town's strategic plan
- Ensure effective communication and coordination across departments to achieve seamless service delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as public administration or business administration
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in municipal government
- Proven track record of success in project management, budgeting, and strategic planning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with council, staff, and external stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
