Security Operations Centre Guard Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Operations Centre Guard to join our team at Paladin Security. As a Security Operations Centre Guard, you will be responsible for monitoring and operating all systems in the Security Operations Centre, including communication systems, CCTV, access control, fire panels, and security records.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Monitor and operate all systems in the Security Operations Centre, including communication systems, CCTV, access control, fire panels, and security records
* Maintain a positive relationship with Brookfield representatives and their guests
* Assist the Shift Supervisor in ensuring that all security guards adhere to procedures
* Ensure staff are following the assigned patrol schedule
* Provide clear and concise communication to security staff
* Record all information in a detailed and factual manner
* Follow communication guidelines issued by the client
* Be familiar with all Brookfield Standard Operating Procedures and Emergency Procedures

**Requirements:**

* Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook
* Knowledge of security technology, including CCTV, access control, fire alarm, intrusion, and incident management systems
* Knowledge and understanding of applicable federal, provincial, and municipal legislation and regulations in the area of security
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
* Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
* Ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced, multi-tasked environment
