Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum

This competitive salary reflects the seniority and responsibility associated with this position, which includes overseeing the planning and preparation of menus, directing food preparation activities, and maintaining high-quality food standards. As one of the key members of our kitchen team, your input will significantly contribute to the success of our restaurant.


 


About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations and develop innovative menu concepts that showcase the richness and diversity of Indian cuisine. In this role, you will be responsible for:



  • Supervising specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless food preparation and presentation.
  • Preparing and cooking food on a regular basis to maintain the highest standards of quality and consistency.
  • Planning and directing food preparation and cooking activities to meet customer demand and preferences.
  • Planning menus and collaborating with suppliers to ensure the procurement of fresh ingredients and equipment.
  • Arranging for equipment purchases and repairs to maintain optimal kitchen efficiency.

 


Key Requirements

To succeed as our Executive Head Chef, you will possess:



  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a fast-paced commercial kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine and ability to develop innovative menu concepts.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to motivate and direct a diverse team of kitchen staff.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards of quality and safety during peak service periods.
  • Familiarity with food preparation procedures, kitchen safety protocols, and health regulations.
  • Able to provide clear guidance and direction to junior staff members to enhance their skills and performance.
