Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Bento Sushi. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for assisting our chefs in preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Assist chefs in preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, including Japanese cuisine.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including cleaning kitchen and work areas.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure high-quality standards are met.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with our chefs and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Will train or equivalent experience.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, and team player.
