Job Summary

S R PETROLEUM INC. is seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our employees, ensuring that they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their jobs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Respond to user inquiries and provide technical assistance to resolve issues related to computer hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve complex technical problems, using technical manuals, online resources, and other documentation to find solutions.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to employees on the use of computer systems, software applications, and other technical tools.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of technical issues, solutions, and employee training, and provide regular reports to management.
  • Supervision: Supervise and mentor junior technical support staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are meeting performance expectations.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a related field, such as computer science or information technology.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in a technical support role, with a strong background in computer hardware, software, and network administration.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
