Job Summary

As a CAD Technician at CONSOR Engineers, you will play a crucial role in providing technical drafting support and assisting in the preparation of plans for various municipal and transportation infrastructure projects. This includes reviewing engineering drawing packages in collaboration with project managers and engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review construction plans, details, and figures for drafting and design.
  • Transform initial rough designs, sketches, and mark-ups into finished plan drawings.
  • Generate engineering drawings for initial and conclusive plan sets, collaborating closely with other drafters and engineers to ensure a coordinated design.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical documents and reports.
Requirements
  • Associate of Science in Engineering Technology.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D software.
  • This office job primarily operates in a professional office environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copy machines. May occasionally be exposed to noise.
  • While performing the duties of this job, physical demands of the employee may include constant sitting, talking, hearing, repetitive motions and occasional standing, moving, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, and coordination. This job will rarely require lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling over to 35 lbs.
