Social Worker 2 Position

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our team at George Pearson Centre in Vancouver, BC. As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing advanced clinical and consultative social work services to clients and families, focusing on how the client's relationships are affected by their environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct social and psychosocial assessments to identify the needs of clients and their families.
- Provide individual, family, and group counseling services to support clients in achieving their goals.
- Develop and implement care plans to address the psychosocial needs of clients and their families.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to clients.
- Identify and connect clients with community resources to support their needs.
George Pearson Centre is a long-term care facility that provides complex medical and physical care to residents. As a Social Worker at GPC, you will work alongside the team to identify and support the psychosocial needs of residents and their family members for optimal quality of life.
Qualifications- Master's of Social Work from an accredited School of Social Work.
- Two (2) years' recent, post Bachelor of Social Work experience in a healthcare setting, including supervisory experience.
- Current full registration with the British Columbia College of Social Workers.
