About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Optical Associate to join our team at BonLook. As a key member of our customer service team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring a positive experience for our valued clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalized eyewear consultations to clients, ensuring they receive the best in value and quality.
- Inform patients about advances in corrective eyewear solutions and assist with the selection of frames to suit their aesthetic and performance needs.
- Interpret optical prescriptions as written by an optometrist and perform frame and facial measurements to ensure correct fit and positioning of new eyewear.
- Place Contact Lens orders and assist with fittings.
- Communicate with patients in person, by phone, and via email to ensure seamless customer service.
- Billing the patient, their medical service provider, and other third parties.
- Manage appointment bookings, prescription printouts, and billing and payments.
- Warmly greet patients as they enter our clinic and uphold excellent customer service standards using your charisma and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer-facing, preferably retail environment.
- Previous optical experience is considered an asset.
- Passionate about customer service.
- A high level of comfort using technology and computers.
- A great communicator who can provide exceptional patient care.
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
