Wind Turbine Technician Opportunity

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is seeking a skilled Wind Turbine Technician to join our team in Alberta.

Responsibilities:

• Provide top-notch service and maintenance for Siemens Gamesa wind turbines at our Alberta Wind Turbine site.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary group to ensure optimal performance on our wind farms.
• Work with complex systems in challenging environments and participate in developing new field procedures and best practices.
• Travel up to 20% of the time to support other sites across Canada, as needed.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated knowledge in electrical systems and strong initiative to learn new technology.
• Excellent customer service skills, communication skills, and ability to work safely and effectively in a team environment.
• Strong ability to organize and plan daily/weekly work with high quality orientation and analyze and resolve problems independently with high results orientation.
• Good computer skills and ability to work on Microsoft platforms like Outlook and Excel.
