Agricultural Instructor

We are seeking an experienced Agricultural Instructor to deliver courses in our Dual Credit program at Georgian College.

As an Agricultural Instructor, you will develop and deliver curriculum that meets course objectives in areas such as agricultural systems, agribusiness management, and sustainable farming practices. You will also incorporate a variety of teaching strategies to meet student needs, evaluate student progress, and participate in program activities.

• Develop and deliver appropriate curriculum for the Dual Credit program
• Incorporate diverse teaching strategies to engage students
• Evaluate student progress and achievement
• Participate in program activities and revisions
• Create a positive learning environment

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Animal/Livestock Science, Agricultural Science, Horticulture, or related field
• Minimum five years of related industry experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to life-long learning
• Proven ability to work in a team environment

The salary range for this position is $72.56 - $159.79 per hour.
