Delivery Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team at Eastern Siding Systems Inc. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, as well as operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver and Pick Up Items: Safely transport and deliver messages, parcels, and other items by hand, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Operate Vehicles: Drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
- Provide Customer Service: Offer exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of items received and delivered, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Preparation and Restocking: Prepare, package, and restock goods as needed, ensuring efficient and safe handling of materials.
- Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods from vehicles, taking care to secure and protect items during transport.
- Sorting and Directing: Sort packages for delivery and direct customers to their destinations, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Navigation and Communication: Follow directions and read maps to navigate to delivery locations, and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrate attention to detail and a commitment to safety, ensuring accurate and efficient delivery of items.
- Physical Demands: Be physically capable of handling heavy loads and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication Skills: Possess excellent oral communication skills and be able to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Reliability and Flexibility: Demonstrate reliability and flexibility, being available to work a variety of shifts and adapt to changing circumstances.
