Lead Electrical Maintenance Specialist

This role involves leading a team of electrical maintenance specialists on 12-hour rotating shifts in a unionized environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Mitigate opportunities for failures across production processes by ensuring issues are diagnosed and corrected to ensure equipment and overall line availability and reliability are maximized.
  • Perform general inspections on equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and report any issues promptly.
  • Support Sr. Supervisors with preventive maintenance tasks and failure analyses to optimize equipment performance.
  • Comply with HSE procedures, reporting incidents and sharing observations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Manage and update the maintenance information system and technical documentation to ensure accurate records.
  • Participate in maintenance initiatives to reduce energy consumption and recommend cost-effective solutions.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data to drive informed decision-making.
  • Coordinate schedules, assign responsibilities, and ensure safe working conditions for team members during assigned shifts.
  • Effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders to motivate, coach, and provide feedback.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a similar industry, preferably with mechatronics or electrical specialization, supervisory or team lead experience, and intermediate experience with MS Office applications.

A strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.

About the Role

This position offers a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits, including relocation support.
