Job Title: Junior Software Developer

At Techathalon, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Software Developer to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Junior Software Developer will be responsible for creating and executing project plans and specifications, developing and managing multiple concurrent projects, and enhancing the user experience of our mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as an Android developer and code high-quality applications.
  • Deliver across the entire app life cycle, from concept to release to app stores.
  • Work directly with developers and product managers to conceptualize, build, test, and realize products.
  • Gather requirements around functionality and translate those requirements into elegant functional solutions.
  • Build prototypes at the tech scoping stage of projects.
  • Collaborate with web developers to create and maintain a robust framework to support the apps.
  • Create compelling device-specific user interfaces and experiences.
  • Standardize the platform and apps to deliver across multiple brands with minimal duplication of effort.
  • Optimize performance for the apps.
Requirements:
  • Experience/knowledge of web service integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML).
  • Experience/knowledge of development using web technologies.
  • Good understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
  • Experience building web and native apps.
  • Experience using social media APIs.
  • Proficiency in using GIT version control.
  • Excellent debugging and optimization skills.
