As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring trucks and trailers are maintained to meet regulatory requirements by inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and servicing all systems and components. Your expertise will help us achieve this goal.

This position involves a regular shift from Tuesday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm and Saturday 6:00am to 2:30pm.

Responsibilities:
  • Service, adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems.
  • Use hand and power tools competently to carry out repairs according to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Read and understand work orders, task procedures, and interpret technical manuals.
  • Write work orders and diagnose the cause of failures.
  • Mentor and assist apprentices.
  • Perform inspections as per the Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program (CVIP) if licensed.
  • Perform all other duties assigned by supervisor/management.

Qualifications:
  • Journeyman or apprentice with 3+ years directly related experience.
  • CVIP license is considered an asset.
