Job Overview:

PTW Energy Services is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Branch Operations Lead to join our team in Fort McMurray, AB.

About the Role:

  • As an Electrical Branch Operations Lead, you will be responsible for leading by example and assisting the Area Manager in all daily activities, including managing employees, scheduling, efficiency, cost control, preventative maintenance, revenue opportunities, and inventory levels.
  • You will develop and implement new business strategies to create or improve processes and procedures to enhance branch performance.
  • Monitoring branch performance against goals to ensure progress is being made and taking corrective action when necessary.
  • Visiting active worksites a minimum of twice per month to discuss safety and work practices, displaying visible safety leadership.
  • Ensuring appropriate staff levels to meet branch requirements.
  • Responsible for recruitment, hiring, terminations, and performance management.
  • Developing and managing business relationships and customer contacts.
  • Managing morale in the branch by setting and demonstrating a strong business ethic for dealing with employees, suppliers, and customers.
  • Enhancing and developing processes and practices to meet departmental goals.
  • Ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality service in the branch to exceed customer expectations.
  • Assisting with budget preparation.
  • Monitoring financial performance to ensure the branch meets or exceeds budgetary commitments.
  • Analyzing and reporting on the branch's key performance indicators and industry/market trends.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve the financial performance of the branch.
  • Analyzing employee and customer concerns and presenting options to solve their issues.
  • Monitoring key business areas.
  • Reviewing and using monthly financial statements to ensure expense control and proactively plan service and sales goals.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five (5) years in a management or senior supervisory role.
  • Journeyperson Electrician and/or Instrument Technician certification.
  • Advanced knowledge of the industry and company operations required.
  • Excellent management, negotiating, and organizational skills, with demonstrated ability to lead a team and achieve results.
  • Experience in budgeting, project management, and operations.
  • Travel will be required for this position.

Salary:$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience
