We are a leading provider of custom mouldings and wood fabrication services. As a Wood Fabrication Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality products to our customers.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Wood Fabrication Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials. You will also prepare tenders and quotations, fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, estimate costs and materials, and ensure health and safety regulations are followed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, Cut, Shape, Assemble and Join Materials: You will work with various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel, to create high-quality products that meet our customers' needs.
  • Prepare Tenders and Quotations: You will accurately estimate the costs of materials and labor, and provide detailed quotes to our clients.
  • Fabricate and Install Products: You will fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, ensuring that all products are installed to the highest standard.
  • Estimate Costs and Materials: You will regularly assess the availability and cost of materials, ensuring that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Maintain Health and Safety Standards: You will adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Requirements
  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate: You must have completed secondary education to apply for this role.
  • 7 Months to Less than 1 Year of Experience: You should have at least 7 months of experience in a related field, preferably in a wood fabrication or construction-related industry.
  • Reliability and Teamwork: You must be able to work reliably and effectively as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Punctuality and Time Management: You must be punctual and able to manage your time efficiently, meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks as needed.

  • Hours: You will work 30 hours per week, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
