Job Description

As a Business Development Director at Bradford Jacobs, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth strategy through mergers and acquisitions. You will oversee the planning and execution of strategic transactions to expand our portfolio of services.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business or a related field and at least 3 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions. They should possess strong negotiating skills, knowledge of the M&A deal execution process, and proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting.

Your key responsibilities will include target identification, pipeline maintenance, contract negotiation, and deal execution. You will also be responsible for maintaining contact with sellers and competitive or strategic targets, tracking pipeline activity, and preparing updates for executive leaders.

You will work closely with the VP of Corporate Development and collaborate with leadership to execute our market growth strategy effectively. Actively maintaining the M&A pipeline distribution to the client's executive team is also a key aspect of this role.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, real estate, or a related field
  • At least 3 years' experience in mergers and acquisitions
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Knowledge of the M&A deal execution process and transactions
  • Highly proficient in financial modeling and forecasting
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated organization and project management skills
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

Salary: $87,000 - $97,000 per annum (dependent on experience). Travel Requirements: Up to 50% - 70%
