Job Opportunity:

We're seeking an experienced Senior Staff Architect to join our Critical Infrastructure team. As a key member of our team, you'll work on designing and delivering critical infrastructure projects that connect and protect communities around the world.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop creative architectural solutions and conduct architectural studies to inform design concepts and criteria.
  2. Review and ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements for drawings, renderings, and construction documents.
  3. Provide technical consultations and guidance to interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  4. Write construction specifications and prepare detailed requisitions for equipment and materials.
  5. Coordinate work with engineering and construction units at project sites and review, approve, and issue detailed design and construction drawings and specifications.
  6. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to lower-level Architects and Architectural Designer/Drafters.
  7. Stay up-to-date with current technologies and best practices through technical subscriptions and attendance at conferences.
  8. Prepare staffing estimates and execution plans to ensure project success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture (or equivalent) and typically 10 years or more of related experience.
  • Professional registration (RA) is required.
  • Experience with design of rail transit stations is a plus, but not required.
  • Proficiency in Revit and other PC software packages typically associated with architectural design is also required.
  • The ability to make presentations to clients and stakeholders is preferred.
