Fleetex Transport Ltd. is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing heavy trucks, as well as maintaining and inspecting equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines and heavy truck systems
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes and filter replacements
  • Inspect and test equipment to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Diagnose and repair faults or malfunctions using computerized testing equipment
  • Order parts and maintain inventory
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Regularly required to bend, crouch, and kneel
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment
