Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Kitchen Helper to join our team at RIMS Incorporated. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to ensure a safe and healthy environment for food preparation and service.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware to the highest standard of cleanliness.
  • Replenish condiments and supplies at tables and serving areas to ensure that customers have access to the products they need.
  • Scour pots and pans to remove any stubborn stains or food residue.
  • Keep accurate records of food quantities used to optimize inventory management and minimize waste.
  • Portion and wrap foods to meet customer demand and ensure presentation is appealing.
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to the required standard.
  • Stock refrigerators, salad bars, and other storage areas to maintain an organized and efficient kitchen environment.
  • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs to meet customer demand.
  • Clean and sanitize the entire kitchen area, including cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Handle and store cleaning products safely and responsibly.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas to maintain an organized and efficient kitchen environment.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen area.
  • Sharpen kitchen knives to maintain their effectiveness and safety.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit to meet customer demand.
