Sheik Halal Farms is seeking a skilled Meat Processing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of halal meat products.
Responsibilities:
Slaughter livestock and remove viscera and other inedible parts from carcasses
Cut beef, lamb, pork or veal carcasses or sides or quarters of carcasses into primal cuts for further cutting, processing or packaging
Remove feathers and singe and wash poultry to prepare for further processing or packaging
Cut meat and poultry into specific cuts for institutional, commercial or other wholesale use
Remove bones from meat
Requirements:
7 months to less than 1 year of experience in meat processing
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols
Work Environment:
On-site work at our meat processing facility
Must be able to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads
Security and Safety:
Criminal record check required
Additional Information:
Public transportation is not available
