Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality resident-centered care, ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents, and promoting a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the clinical team to ensure the delivery of high-quality resident-centered care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of residents.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary leadership team to ensure the effective management of resident care.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and standards.

Requirements:

  • Baccalaureate degree in Nursing (Master's degree preferred).
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse and a current certificate of competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • 5+ years nursing supervisory experience (LTC experience preferred).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of standards set out by the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Long-Term Care, and College of Nurses.
  • Strong leadership and team building skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including but not limited to Point Click Care, online learning platforms, and Microsoft Office.
