We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Care to lead our clinical team at St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre Brantford. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality resident-centered care, ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents, and promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the clinical team to ensure the delivery of high-quality resident-centered care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of residents.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary leadership team to ensure the effective management of resident care.
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and standards.
Requirements:
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing (Master's degree preferred).
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse and a current certificate of competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- 5+ years nursing supervisory experience (LTC experience preferred).
- Comprehensive knowledge of standards set out by the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Long-Term Care, and College of Nurses.
- Strong leadership and team building skills.
- Strong computer skills, including but not limited to Point Click Care, online learning platforms, and Microsoft Office.
