Culinary Excellence at Best Western Plus Mirage Hotel & Resort
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our culinary team at Best Western Plus Mirage Hotel & Resort. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate special events and banquets, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional guest experience.
- Determine food portion sizes and costs, maintaining profitability and quality standards.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and inventory management.
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes, adhering to recipe standards and presentation guidelines.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and safety.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
- Clean kitchen and work areas, promoting a safe and healthy environment.
- Recruit and hire staff, adhering to company hiring policies and procedures.
- Organize buffets and banquets, ensuring exceptional guest experience and quality standards.
- Manage kitchen operations, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
