About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to join our team at The Richmond Academy of Dance Ltd. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our human resources functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the HR department, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and preparing correspondence.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
  • Employee Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, benefits information, and performance evaluations.
  • Benefits and Compensation: Assist with the administration of benefits and compensation programs, including dental and health plans, vision care benefits, and group insurance benefits.
  • Training and Development: Coordinate training and development programs for staff, including workshops, seminars, and conferences.
  • Communication and Reporting: Prepare and distribute reports, including employee statistics, benefits information, and other HR-related data.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as database software and human resources software.
