About the Position

This Casual Retail Sales Associate role offers the flexibility to balance work, school, and family obligations while providing growth opportunities within the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for sales, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Job Description

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries and providing product recommendations
  • Educate customers on products and promotions, ensuring they have a comprehensive understanding of our offerings
  • Process cash and point-of-sale transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on products and promotions, including new releases and special deals
  • Visual merchandising and store organization to create an engaging shopping environment
  • Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks in the store warehouse
  • Routine office, clerical, and light cleaning tasks

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 19 years old and not currently employed by a brewing, distilling, or alcohol-producing company (as per the Liquor Control Act)
  • At least 1 year of sales or customer service experience, previous experience in the alcohol or service industry is an asset
  • Lifting up to 40 lbs to receive and process stock
  • Legally able to work in Canada without sponsorship
  • Ability to work flexible scheduling, including days, evenings, weekends, and short notice call-in as required
