About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations and Merchandise Management Lead to join our team at Giant Tiger. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of merchandise operations and supporting cross-functional teams in delivering product lines on-time, on budget, and on strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain system activities and processes to uphold day-to-day business standards.
  • Lead project management initiatives to identify process improvement opportunities within merchandising and implement changes.
  • Coordinate and maintain system administrator tasks, including user group setup and access policies.
  • Provide administrative support between buying teams, vendors, and nominated suppliers regarding labels and invoicing.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in an office role working for a retail company.
  • Process improvement and/or project management experience.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Demonstrable attention to detail and values data integrity.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional projects.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products (Outlook, Teams, Excel).
  • Systems experience with AS400 (JDA), PLM, BI or similar software applications.
