Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our team at Wilson's Business Solutions. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering various items and products to our customers in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
- Provide exceptional customer service and professionalism in all interactions.
- Assemble, install, and set up merchandise/products as required.
- Keep accurate records of items received and delivered.
- Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
- Sort packages for delivery and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Use maps and other trip planning aids to optimize routes and reduce delivery times.
- Record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues encountered.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery operations.
Requirements:
- Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
- Local and regional transportation/travel experience.
- Criminal record check.
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Steel-toed safety boots and other necessary equipment.
- Excellent client focus, interpersonal skills, and judgement.
- Reliability, dependability, and initiative.
