We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pilates Instructor to join our team at Active Pilates Inc.
Key Responsibilities:- Demonstrate and instruct athletic, fitness, or sports activities and techniques to clients.
- Schedule activities and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
- Train staff members to maintain high standards of instruction and customer service.
- Assist with coordination of recreational, sport, and fitness events to promote a healthy and active lifestyle.
- Lead groups and individuals in recreational or leisure programs, promoting physical activity and well-being.
- Plan and carry out recreational, fitness, and sports activities, ensuring a fun and engaging experience for all participants.
- Prepare reports on program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
- Understand principles of group dynamics and lead groups effectively.
- Provide lifestyle awareness information to clients, promoting healthy habits and wellness.
- Conduct therapeutic recreational or athletic activities, adapting to the needs of clients with special requirements.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, monitoring activities to prevent accidents and providing first aid assistance when necessary.
- 5 years or more of experience in a related field.
- Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
- Support for newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
- Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment.
- Support for visible minorities.
- Permanent employment.
- English as the primary language of work.
- 40 hours per week.
