Job Responsibilities:

  • Work within the IT team to defend Applications, Networks, and Systems against attacks and proactively assess and enhance existing defenses.
  • Leverage and work with leading tools in the EDR, E-mail Security, Data Protection, and Identity domains.
  • Primary tasks include automation of tasks, monitoring of posture, coordination of testing activities, coordination/triage of incident response, threat hunting, and reporting on the status of protection.
  • Secondary tasks include management of and reporting on unauthorized/unmanaged assets and access attempts, instances of data loss/extraction, and suspicious activities.
  • Complete detailed investigative reports outlining the key elements, evidence collected, findings, and recommendations regarding IT security investigations.
  • Participation in the ongoing development of security governance and procedural artifacts.
  • Participate in business, IT, and other initiatives where relevant/required.

  • Remain operationally current for all key and critical IT systems and networks to ensure investigations are necessary, core operational competencies, and skills will improve, and ensure that the full range of potential root causes are explored without putting at risk the continued operation of the system or network.
