Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Modify, install, and maintain equipment to meet changing production needs.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth equipment operation and minimize downtime.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment failures.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians on equipment operation and maintenance procedures.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Industrial Mechanic, Millwright Ticket, or Red Seal license required.
  • Journeyperson Ticket and 5th class or higher Power Engineers certification preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in food manufacturing or a related field.
