Job Description

We are seeking a Safety and Security Team Leader to join our team at Western Canada Security Corp. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our security services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work to ensure all equipment is in good working condition;
  • Act as the primary point of contact for emergency situations, providing leadership and guidance when needed;
  • Co-ordinate activities with other departments to achieve our goals;
  • Ensure that computer equipment and machinery are properly maintained and functioning correctly;
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on progress and performance;
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as necessary;
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality;
  • Supervise, co-ordinate, and schedule the activities of up to 10 team members;
  • Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies;
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations;
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • Security Guard License;
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment;
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day;
  • Organized and reliable individual with excellent communication skills;
Benefits:
  • Estimated salary range: $50,000 - $65,000 per year;
  • 35 hours per week, permanent position;
  • English language required;
